We in­clude here (see link at the up­per right) Don­ald Burk­hold­er’s CV, last up­dated in 2001. The read­er will note the many fa­cets of Burk­hold­er’s sci­entif­ic lead­er­ship, ran­ging from journ­al ed­it­or­ships to board and ad­vis­ory coun­cil mem­ber­ships, as well as his in­duc­tion in­to the Na­tion­al Academy of Sci­ences in 1992.

Also note­worthy are the many in­vited lec­tures and re­search vis­its to in­sti­tu­tions in the US, con­tin­ent­al Europe, the United King­dom, and the Middle East.
