Andy’s father, Henry Allan Gleason and Andy, on a visit to Toronto in 1969. Gleason (père) was a botanist, who had been, among other things, Chief Curator at the New York Botanical Garden. In his later years he moved to Toronto to live with his son, Henry Allan Gleason, Jr.
