Andy in his Naval Reserve uniform in a photograph taken at home by his
wife Jean. During his time in the Reserve he taught courses on
celestial navigation among other things.
Andy served in the Naval Reserve for 20 years until his retirement
with the rank of Commander in the early 1970s.
