This is a rare photo of Vaughan with his mother
(on Vaughan's right), his father (on Wendy's left) and his sister
Tessa (in blue). It was taken in Wellington in 2002 when Vaughan was
awarded a DCNZM, a Distinguished Companion of the New Zealand Order
of Merit. Vaughan is wearing the associated medals.
